The Blue Horizon by Wilbur A. Smith
Book Number:RC 57491
6 sound cassettes
Series: Courtneys of Africa

Southern Africa, eighteenth century. In this sequel to Monsoon (RC 49786),
cousins Jim and Mansur Courtney continue trading throughout the continent in
their father’s footsteps. When Jim spies Louisa Leuven, a beautiful Dutch
convict aboard a slave ship, he sets out to rescue her. Some explicit
descriptions of sex and some violence. 2003.
Once again I was completely swept away by the story telling of Wilbur Smith.
His details of the time, land, traditions of the people and the personal
lives of his characters just carries me off to Africa and beyond. A truly
great book that continues the saga of the Courtney family. I give it a 5
out of 5. I love his books. Below is the link to his home page.

Happy reading,
Carla/TexasRed
